He said it: “In the least weird way possible, it’s my favorite album to listen to at the moment.”
The singer said this quote during an upcoming interview with BBC Radio 1 when he opened up about his upcoming solo debut album. His first single release, “Sign Of The Times” drops on April 7. He stated he wrote approximately 70 songs for the album while in Jamaica, which he then edited down into just one album.
“I just wanted to not be somewhere that I’d get distracted. It was 360 of writing, you’d go home for dinner, write at the house then go back to the studio. I liked being away from everything and doing it like that. I was with the guys who I was writing it with and we just wanted to make what we wanted to listen to and that has been the most fun part for me about making the whole album.”
The 23-year-old singer is out of “hibernation” and following in the footsteps of his former One Direction band mates. Harry prepares to fly solo just like Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
He also went to the top singer, Ed Sheeran for help which didn’t help him as much. Styles said: “I played him a few songs after the album was finished. He didn’t say that he didn’t like any but he did like one song that isn’t on the album.”
A source added: “Harry has written the songs and the meanings are very personal to him, based on his life.
“He has also been playing the guitar and the piano as well. He’s a very modest guy, but it was important to him that this music represented him totally.”
